Slip, Slop, Slap

Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat. That’s the advice we’re following this summer.

As the high temperatures kick into gear it can be pretty brutal working outdoors, so it’s imperative that you are prepared at the start of the day.

Plenty of water and the correct clothing is key. And that’s before you even consider the dreaded hayfever!

It’s been a busy few months for us here at PPS. Spring and the opening weeks of summer have taken us to the outskirts of Glastonbury (no, we didn’t see Rod Stewart), the same postcode as Luton Airport (no trip to Spain for us, sadly) and to an area of Worcestershire that is famed for its asparagus, although we didn’t try the green tips.

So, although we’ve been in the shadows of excitement (I’m not quite sure asparagus classes as exciting), it’s been all work and no play.

As the temperature ramps up once again, it’s time for us to remember the slip, slop, slap process…and don’t forget the tissues for when the hayfever kicks in!
