We’ve recently been knocking on plenty of doors.

In a change of pace, our work has taken us to the east of England for a threshold survey.

The threshold job saw us update levels on over 100 houses in a high flood risk area and thanks to the understanding of the community, we were able to gain access to entry points for the houses – taking levels to help assess flood vulnerability.

Alongside the threshold survey we surveyed a 5km stretch of a drain that was a potential flood risk to the houses. For this element of the job we surveyed cross sections every 100m, as well as fully surveying all structures along the way.

This enabled us to gather a full picture of the area and help the client alleviate future flooding concerns in the area.
