The Month of July 2024
And so we wave goodbye to July 2024.
There’s a new Prime Minister at Number 10, the great water silver beetle was re-discovered and there was double delight for Spanish sport – Alcaraz winning Wimbledon and Spain beating England in the Euros final.
The miles kept stacking up for PPS. We headed down to Essex for the main job of the month – working on the edge of an estuary.
Whilst the summer months bring sunshine, they also bring vegetation and this month really saw us battle through plenty of it! Nettle stings and bramble scratches are an undesriable perk that all surveyors will be able to relate to…
However bruised we may have been, we battled on through the job – as well as cheering England to victory over Netherlands whilst eating a delicious Chinese takeaway.
Much of the job saw us working on a construction site which allowed us to use our recently updated CSCS cards – we don’t like to shout about it, but we got 100% in the test! We also found ourselves navigating close to a disused railway line which is now a popular dog walking path. Needless to say, those dogs received some extra pats from our team!
Now…when’s Crufts?
